Lake Ashuelot Estates Association is an expansive residential lake community set around the shores of 368-acre Ashuelot Pond in rural Washington, New Hampshire. Established in 1969, it was one of the major subdivision developments created during Washington's 1960s residential expansion. Surrounded by thousands of acres of protected state forest and conservation lands, the community offers a resort-like atmosphere embedded in classic New England wilderness.

The association features over 200 residential parcels, featuring a diverse mix of single-family homes, cedar chalets, custom colonials, and log cabins. Properties are situated on spacious wooded lots averaging 1 to 4+ acres, offering private settings framed by native hardwoods, pines, and ferns. The original lots averaged approximately one acre, with sections closest to Ashuelot Pond generally smaller and more densely developed.

Community life centers on a comprehensive suite of shared recreational facilities. Members enjoy exclusive access to a broad private sandy beach on Ashuelot Pond, a beach house clubhouse, a boat ramp, tennis and basketball courts, a volleyball court, a playground, and a private marina with boat slips. The association also maintains an internal network of 11 miles of private roads year-round, including winter snow removal.

Located in southern Sullivan County, Lake Ashuelot Estates provides direct access to outdoor recreation, including nearby Pillsbury State Park, Mount Sunapee, Pats Peak, and local snowmobile trail systems. Concord, Keene, and the Massachusetts border are all within reasonable driving distance via Routes 9 and 31.
